Your Donations Educate Girls and Break the Cycle of Poverty!

This is Ranuk. Her mother, Lakshmi, was an orphan girl brought up by foster parents who had no children of their own. Lakshmi married Ranuk's father Mahadeva who worked as a wage earner. Unfortunately Mahadeva became mentally unstable and couldn’t support his family. Lakshmi left home with Ranuk and her brother and joined Shakthidhama for shelter. Later her brother was admitted to Deenabandhu. Subsequently Ranuk was also taken under the care of Deenabandhu.

Ranuk now attends Deenabandhu high-school and is an above average student. She is part of her school’s theater group and is very skilled in the performing arts. She also represents her school as an athlete in inter-school sports competition.

With your support, YGB continues to fund 25 children for their education and living expenses in the loving home at Deenabandhu Children's Home Karnataka, India. This home houses about 100 boys and girls who have absolutely no other place to live. $500 a year can support these children fully. Join us to make a real difference in these children's lives and donate now!
